College
Start by looking at what programs are available using OntarioColleges.ca. You should also look over the websites of the colleges you're thinking about, and plan a campus visit.
Apply online through OntarioColleges.ca. If you're applying to a college outside of Ontario, you'll need apply directly on their website.

University
Start by looking at what programs are available in Ontario as well as their prerequisites using eINFO. You should also look over the websites of the universities you're thinking about, and plan a campus visit. Plan on attending the Ontario Universities' Fair each fall in Toronto or the University Information Program here in Ottawa. Looking at universities outside of Ontario? You'll need to read about them on their websites.

Apply online through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC). If you're applying to a university outside of Ontario, you'll need apply directly on their website. Applying to the States? Most American universities require you to apply through the Common Application, while some will require you to apply directly on their websites. EducationUSA is a useful resource for Canadian students applying to the States. . Applying to the UK? Most British universities require you to apply through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS), while some will require you to apply directly on their websites. Across the Pond is a useful resource for Canadian students applying to the UK. Note: Get in touch with your Guidance Counsellor if you're applying to the States or the UK. We need 2 weeks notice to prepare our part of your applications.
