The following is an example of a potential schedule for the student seeking a liberal arts curriculum in secondary school and University.

Please note that the group 2, 3, 4, and 6 have a selection of options available to complete this course of study, and the Options and Compulsory section allows the student to construct their curriculum in such a way to earn the required compulsory courses for their Ontario Diploma and take courses that interest them and lead towards their post-secondary goals.

Liberal Arts studies at University offer a great diversity to students. Program options offered are: Linguistics, Law, Criminology, Psychology, Sociology, English, History, Geography, Leisure Studies, Political Science, Women's Studies, Public Administration, Music (these selections taken from the University of Ottawa course calendar)

Adding the Calculus would offer as well: Commerce, Accounting, Arts (Mathematics), Human Kinetics, Economics

Many universities will assess the student's grades based on their top six 4U/M courses including English, additional courses will require the additional Calculus course.

Grade 11 Options courses would be filled with University pre-requisites ouside of IB.
