Founded in 1999 CougarVision is Colonel By's award winning in-school digital television station.
The CougarVision student team employ the latest in digital video hardware and software to produce a daily morning show consisting advertising of upcoming events, coverage of school events and activities, school sports highlights and interviews , interviews, special features, and much more all in a newsmagazine show format.
Colonel By's CougarVision team have helped dozens of schools from across Canada and around the world in creating their own version of Cougarvision including the very successful JayTV at A.Y. Jackson in Ottawa, to as far away as WolfTV at the Thai-Chinese International School of Bangkok in Thailand.
CougarVision content is extended beyond the televisions of Colonel By as in addition to the daily show CougarVision Online will have a wide variety of programming that can only be viewed online.

Evaluation
Evaluation of this course will be done according to Ontario Ministry guidelines using the following categories and weighting:
Knowledge and Understanding 17.5%
Thinking and Inquiry 17.5%
Application 17.5%
Communication 17.5%
Summative 30%
